YoucanlistentomusicoveraBluetoothstereoheadset,orhavehands-freeconversationsusinga
compatibleBluetoothheadsetorcarkit.It’sthesameproceduretosetupstereoaudioandhands-
freedevices.
Tolistentomusicwithyourheadsetorcarkit,theheadsetorcarkitmustsupporttheA2DP
Bluetoothprofile.

3. Makesurethattheheadsetisdiscoverable,sothatyourphonecanfindtheheadset.Referto
theinstructionsthatcamewiththeheadsettofindouthowtosetittodiscoverablemode.
4. TouchSEARCH FOR DEVICES.YourphonewillstarttoscanforBluetoothdeviceswithin
range.
5. WhenyouseethenameofyourheadsetdisplayedintheAVAILABLEDEVICESsection,touch
thename.Yourphonethenautomaticallytriestopairwiththeheadset.
6. Ifautomaticpairingfails,enterthepasscodesuppliedwithyourheadset.
Thepairingandconnectionstatusisdisplayedbelowthehands-freeheadsetorcarkitname.When
theBluetoothheadsetorcarkitisconnectedtoyourphone,theBluetoothconnectedicon is
displayedinthestatusbar.Dependingonthetypeofheadsetorcarkityouhaveconnected,you
canthenstartusingtheheadsetorcarkittolistentomusicormakeandreceivephonecalls.
Note:DuetodifferentspecificationsandfeaturesofotherBluetooth-compatibledevices,display
andoperationsmaybedifferent,andfunctionssuchastransferorexchangemaynotbepossible
withallBluetooth-compatibledevices.
Reconnect a Headset or Car Kit
Whenyouhavepairedaheadsetwithyourphone,youshouldbeabletoreconnectitautomatically
byturningonBluetoothonyourphoneandthenturningontheheadset.However,sometimesyou
willneedtoreconnectmanually,forexampleifyouhavebeenusingyourheadsetwithanother
Bluetoothdevice.
