Google Play
Google Play gives you access to thousands of free and paid apps, games,
books and magazines, music, and movies.
From the home screen, tap .
Navigating Google Play
From Play Store, you will have multiple ways to search for apps, games,
and more.
1. Tap a category to browse popular apps, games, movies, books, and music
organized by popularity or category.
2. Tap to search the Play Store for a specic item, such as a game or app.
3. To install, tap the app and follow instructions. Once installed, you will
see a notication in the Notications panel. Open the app from this
notication or by locating the app in the App tray .

payment method is required to purchase apps.
• To restrict purchases of apps without your Google password, tap >
Settings and then check Password.
Google Calendar
From the home screen, tap to use Google Calendar, Google’s time
management application. You can use the calendar to schedule
appointments, including meetings and other events. Your appointments will
be displayed on the screen as they are scheduled. You can also synchronize
appointments to your Google account, which enables you to manage your
schedule online on your PC.
Accessing calendar settings
1. While in the calendar, tap > Settings.
2. Tap an account name, or tap General settings to change settings for
all accounts.
Google+
Google+ is a social networking service offered by Google. The Google+
application on your phone enables you to manage your data, chat with
online contacts, organize them in different circles, and share your selected
information.
From the home screen, tap > Google+. The rst time you open Google+,
select the photo and video backup and contact sync options.
Organizing your contacts
1. Tap > People.
2. Tap and enter the person you want to search for or select a suggested
person, and then tap Add or Follow.
3. If you tapped Add, select the circle the person should be added to and
tap OK, or tap Create a new circle to set up new circles.
Getting updates
1. Tap > Home.
2. Swipe up or down to see different information shared with you by other
users. Tap to choose what groups of information are shown.
• Nearby shows posts shared with you by users near your current location.
• All, Acquaintances, Family, Following, and Friends show updates from
people you’ve added to your circles.
