2. Drag the sliders below Media volume, Alarm volume, Ring
volume, and Notification volume to adjust the volume for
each type of audio.
NOTE:
You can adjust the volume levels any time by pressing the
Volume key. Then touch and drag a volume slider.
Switching to Silent Mode
You can set the phone to silent mode by using one of the
following methods.
Press the Volume key and touch . Drag the ringtone slider
to the minimum to switch the phone to silent mode with
vibration.
Press and hold the lower end of the Volume key when no
media or phone call is active. When the phone vibrates, it is
switched to silent mode with vibration; press the Volume key
again to switch to silent mode.
Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notification
panel and drag the panel downwards. Touch the
Sound/Vibrate button to switch the phone to silent mode.

Touch the Home key > > Settings > Sound &
notification > Notification mode and select Vibrate or Mute
to switch to silent mode with or without vibration.
