NOTE:
The data usage is measured by your phone, and your carrier‟s data usage accounting may differ.
Touch > Network restrictions to select Wi-Fi networks that are mobile hotspots. Data usage
on recognised mobile hotspots will be restricted to avoid high mobile data bills.
Airplane Mode
Touch the Home key > > Settings > More and slide the switch beside Airplane mode to
turn the mode on or off. All the phone‟s radios that transmit voice or data are turned off when the
mode is on.
VPN
Touch the Home key > > Settings > More > VPN to set up and connect to virtual private
networks. See Connecting to Virtual Private Networks.
Default SMS App
Touch the Home key > > Settings > More > Default SMS app to set the default app for
SMS.
Tethering & Mobile HotSpot
Touch the Home key > > Settings > More > Tethering & Mobile HotSpot to share your
phone‟s mobile data connection with PCs or other devices via USB, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. See
Sharing Your Mobile Data Connection.
Wi-Fi Calling
Touch the Home key > > Settings > More > Wi-Fi Calling.
When Wi-Fi calling is on, your phone can route calls via Wi-Fi networks or your operator‟s
network, depending on your preference and which signal is stronger (see Making a VoWi-Fi Call).
Before turning on this feature, check with your operator regarding fees and other details.
