About Anti-theft
Anti-theft renders this smartphone inoperable when the device is lost or stolen and the antitheft
feature is initiated by an authorized user. Per the Anti-theft legislation passed in California and
Minnesota, and supporting CTIA Smartphone Anti-theft Voluntary commitment, new models of
LTE smartphones manufactured after July 2015 are required to offer the Anti-theft functionality.
Your device offers the Anti-theft functionality under the name of Android Device Manager. If you
lose your Android device, you can use the Android Device Manager to:
Find your device: Use Android Device Manager to show your device's location.
Ring, lock, or erase a lost device: Use Android Device Manager to remotely ring or lock your
device, erase everything on it, or add a phone number to the lock screen.
If you wish to utilize this feature, please confirm that you can access the android.com/device
manager, the URL is: https://www.google.co m / a n d r o i d / d e v i c e m a n a ger .
