processingofunexpectedeventsmustbeimplementedwiththeformalapprovalofthe
operatorandthetechnicalsupport.
MakeCutoverPlan
Tomakeacutoverplan,performthefollowingsteps:
1.Draftacutoverplanaccordingtothenetworksituationofactualservices.
2.Urgetheoperator’ssupervisiondepartmenttoorganizetherelateddepartmentsand
theirsupervisorsateachnodeinthenetworktoattendameetingfordiscussingthe
draft.Recordalltheopinionsfromeverydepartmentandtherelatedprecautionsfor
actualoperationindetail.
3.Workoutthestartandendtimeofinstallingthenewdevice,debuggingsoftwareand
testingthesystem.Decidethetimeforcutover.
4.Afterdeterminingthecutoverplan,applyfortheapprovalofthehigherauthority.
CommissionNewSystem
Tocommissionthenewsystem,performthefollowingsteps:
1.Performthecommissioningworkonthenewsystem.
2.Implementthesimulatedtestaccordingtothefeaturesoftheonlineservicestoensure
thattheonlineservicescanrunproperlyafterbeingtransittothenewequipment.
ImplementCutover
Toimplementcutover,performthefollowingsteps:
1.Determinethetimeofstartingthecutover.
2.InformtheR&Ddepartmentandthecustomerservicedepartmentofthespecictime
andotherrelatedeventsforcutovertogettimelytechnicalsupportincaseofany
unexpectedfault.
3.Remindtheoperatortonotifyeachbranchofcewherethelower-layerONUlocates
ofthespeciccutovertime.Therefore,theycantimelyinformtheusersoftheservice
interruptioninacertainperiod,andtheterminaluserscanmakethecorresponding
preparationstoavoidanyloss.
Makethefollowingpreparationsforthecutover:
lArrangethepersonnelproperly.
àConsideringthelargetrafcoftheZXA10C320,itisrecommendedtoarrange
twogroupsofpersonnel.Onegroupgoestothelocaleforon-siteoperation.The
othergroupstaysattheoperator’sNMScenterforsupport.
