1. Unpacking and assembly
I M P O R T A N T
The first charge is crucial!
Please fully charge the battery before using the bike for the
first time!
Dear Customer, Please note that your bike is delivered to you 98% pre-assembled. As a rule, the fol-
lowing activities remain to be carried by you after unpacking the bike:
- Inspect the stem (see: 11 Assembling components of the bike / Checking the stem on p. 33)
- Adjust the handlebars (see: 11 Assembling components of the bike / Handlebar adjustment
on p. 33)
- Adjust the saddle (see: 11 Assembling components of the bike / Fitting the pedals on p. 37)
- Attach the pedals or check that the pedals are securely attached (see: 11 Assembling compo-
nents of the bike / Fitting the pedals on p. 37)
- Check the proper function of all the brakes (see: 13 Using the bike / Actuating the brakes on
p. 43)
- Check the function of the derailleur (see: 13 Using the bike / Operating the gears on p. 44)
- Charge the battery (see: 12 Before riding the bike for the first time / Charging the battery on
p. 39)
