4.1.2 Ethernet Edit
The Ethernet Edit screen lets you configure IP address assignment. To access this screen, select an
interface and click its Edit icon in the Ethernet screen. (See Section 4.1.1 on page 18.)
The screen varies depending on the connection type you select.
DHCP
Select DHCP to set this interface to act as a DHCP client and automatically get the WAN IP address,
subnet mask, gateway address and DNS server information from a DHCP server.

Ethernet Fixed IP
Select Ethernet Fixed IP when the WAN interface is used as a regular Ethernet and your ISP assigned you
a fixed IP address and DNS server information. Specify the IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS
server address manually.
Mask This field displays the interface’s subnet mask in dot decimal notation.
Reset Click Reset to return the screen to its last-saved settings.
