17. External Swan-neck Installation (optional)
When the external swan-neck is purchased at the same time as an external VisionDome, the
VisionDome top cover will be fitted to the swan-neck at the factory. If they are ordered
separately then the swan-neck must be fastened to the top cover during installation. It is
necessary to include the two gaskets. The swan-neck is fastened to the top cover using three
screws fitted from inside the top cover.
Fit external top cover to swan-neck. Thread the cables through the swan-neck and terminate
inside the top housing (see connections for wall mount installation). Fit swan-neck to top of
pole or parapet using suitable fixings. Complete the installation in a similar manner to the
fitting of the wall mount version.
