service life. Check local regulations for WEL in your country
Low boiling point organic vapours where protection is provided by ¿lters other than AX (e.g. B, E or K).

Limitations on the use of these ¿lters may differ from one country to another but in the absence of any limitations in
your country the following should be applied.
a) Low boiling point organic compounds will be divided into four groups.
APPROVALS
These products are type approved and audited annually by BSI, Kitemark Court, Davy Avenue, Knowlhill, Milton Keynes MK5 8PP, UK, Noti¿ed Body No.
0086. They meet standard EN 14387:2004 + A1:2008, Respiratory protective devices – gas ¿lter(s) and combined Filter(s).
b) Against compounds of groups 1 and 2, AX ¿lters complying with EN14387 can be used up to the maximum concentrations shown in the table below or 20
x WEL, whichever is lower.
c) Only new, unused ¿lters from their original packaging should be ¿tted to your facepiece. During one 8 hour shift, repeated use of an AX ¿lter is permitted,
provided the maximum usage time shown in the table above is not exceeded.
d) Use of AX ¿lters against mixtures of low boiling point organic compounds or mixtures of low boiling point organic compounds and other compounds is not
permitted as one or more of these compounds may be desorbed.
e) AX ¿lters may be used as A2 ¿lters ONLY if no other low boiling point organic compound is present. A1 or A2 ¿lters are not to be used against low boiling
point organic compounds.
