K. HEAD REPLACEMENT
1TC cartridge machines utilize strap-mount type
heads to provide quick and easy installation. Figure
3-18.
1. Loosen the two screws in the head mounting
strap.
2. Remove the old head and insert a new one.
3. Reconnect the head cables. See the schematic
diagram for the color code of the head lead
arrangement used CAUTION: Use care when
reconnecting the head cables as the head
pins can be broken off if excessive side pres 
sure is exerted against them.
4. Follow the procedures outlined in this SECTION
regarding height, zenith, and azimuth/phase
alignment.
