Debug mode may be enabled by placing a link on jumper 5 (useful for a quick functional test as it sends a
power up message). Other modes as follows:

So standard shipping is Jumpers 1, 2, 4, 6 and 7 ON = 19200 baud, 7 data bits and even parity, as shown
below.
All other links should be left off except for jumpers 6 and 7 which must be on.
