Confirm battery charge by pressing test button and attach battery pack securely to motor/blower.
Attach filter/cartridge and belt, then confirm airflow sufficiency using the indicator.
Connect breathing tube to PAPR air outlet and headtop, ensuring secure connections.
Inspect headtop for damage and don the PAPR according to workplace procedures.
Inspect motor/blower, battery pack, breathing tube, filter/cartridge, and headgear for damage.
Assemble battery pack, filter/cartridge, and breathing tube to motor/blower and headgear.
Check airflow daily using indicator TR-971 and perform low flow alarm test.
Turn on motor/blower, attach PAPR to wearer, and adjust headgear.
Turn off motor/blower, remove PAPR safely, clean, and charge battery.
