How to fix a low airflow alarm on a 3M Respiratory Product?
    • J
      julie56Aug 14, 2025
If your 3M Respiratory Product has a low air flow alarm (audible and/or LED flashing), it could be due to a blocked breathing tube. Check the breathing tube and remove any blockage or obstruction. Another possible cause is a covered air inlet. Inspect the air filter and remove any obstruction. Finally, the filter might be fully loaded with particles. In this case, change the HE filter and prefilter or spark arrestor/prefilter.

      David StantonAug 17, 2025
If you detect an odor or taste of contaminants or feel eye or throat irritation while using your 3M Respiratory Product, it may be due to using the incorrect respirator for your specific application and/or environment. In this case, no other solution is available.

Why does the battery die so fast on my 3M Versaflo TR-300 Respiratory Product?
    • D
      Diana MyersAug 20, 2025
If your 3M Respiratory Product's battery pack charge lasts less than expected, ensure the battery pack is fully charged. Also, a HE filter loaded with particles can make the motor work harder, so check the low flow indicator and replace the HE filter & prefilter or clean the spark arrestor. The battery pack might also be nearing the end of its service life, so consider replacing it.

How to reset alarm when all LEDs are flashing on 3M Versaflo TR-300?
    • M
      michaelbrownAug 25, 2025
If all LEDs are flashing and an alarm is sounding on your 3M Respiratory Product, it indicates a system software malfunction. To clear the alarm, power down the motor/blower unit and remove the battery pack. Let the unit sit for several minutes before reconnecting the battery pack and turning the unit back on. If the unit does not reset, no other solution is available.

Why is my 3M Versaflo TR-300 motor running faster than normal?
    • L
      Leonard HarrisAug 27, 2025
If the motor of your 3M Respiratory Product runs 'faster than normal', check the low flow indicator. Replace the HE filter & prefilter and clean the spark arrestor, as the HE filter might be loaded with particles. Then, let the unit run for 2 minutes so it can automatically adjust to the new filter or changes to the filter configuration.

What to do if the bottom bar of battery pack indicator flashes and battery alarm sounds in 3M Versaflo TR-300?
    • T
      Teresa JohnsonAug 30, 2025
If the bottom bar of the battery pack indicator flashes and the battery alarm sounds, it could be due to several reasons. It may be caused by low battery voltage, in which case you should recharge the battery pack. Another cause could be that the battery pack is not properly installed, so try removing and reinstalling it. If the battery pack is past its service life, install a new, fully-charged battery pack. Finally, if the battery pack temperature is too hot (greater than 140ºF or 60ºC), bring it to a cooler environment and allow it to cool down.

What to do if my 3M Versaflo TR-300 Respiratory Product battery pack’s charge lasts less than expected?
    • I
      iquinnSep 3, 2025
If your battery pack's charge is not lasting as long as expected, there are a few things to consider. First, ensure that the battery pack is fully charged. Also, a HE filter loaded with particles can make the motor work harder, so check the low flow indicator and replace the HE filter and prefilter or clean the spark arrestor. Finally, the battery pack may be reaching the end of its service life, which means it's time to replace it.

      Rebecca LarsenSep 6, 2025
A low air flow alarm (audible and/or LED flashing) can occur for several reasons. The breathing tube may be blocked, so check and remove any blockage or obstruction. The air inlet could be covered, so check the air filter and remove any obstruction. Also, the filter may be fully loaded with particles, in which case you should change the HE filter and prefilter or spark arrestor/prefilter.

Why is the motor running faster than normal in my 3M Respiratory Product?
    • B
      bmathewsSep 9, 2025
If the motor runs faster than normal, it could be because the HE filter is loaded with particles. In this case, check the low flow indicator and replace the HE filter and prefilter, and clean the spark arrestor. Also let the unit run for 2 minutes so it can automatically adjust to the new filter or changes to the filter configuration.
