Conguring the Controller
Conguration
Binary Input #4
In this example this is the input conguration screen for “Boiler POF”
on Binary Input #4 (BIN4). Item #1 in Figure 20 indicates the Boiler
Proof Of Flow binary input is congured for a normally open contact.
In this conguration the ow switch associated with the boiler water
pump would activate this contact insuring that water ow exists in the
boiler water piping.
Binary Input #5
In this example this is the input conguration screen for “Boiler Alarm”
on Binary Input #5 (BIN5). Item #1 in Figure 21 indicates the “Boiler
Alarm binary input is congured for a normally open contact. In this
conguration an alarm contact from the boiler protection control (by
others) would close to activate this alarm contact. In this case it is shown
as a normally open contact.
Binary Input #6
In Figure 22 Item #1 it indicates that Binary Input #6 (BIN6) is not used
in this typical conguration. Your application may require its use and it
can be congured as needed.
