Extending
Dialog 4224 Operator38
Busy extension
If BUSY is shown the extension is busy, inform the caller and ask if
he/she wants to hold or call later.
If the caller wants to hold:
ê
Press to extend the call.
The call is extended and camped on to the busy extension. The
terminal is cleared.
If the caller wants to call later:
Ò < Clear Press.
Clear >
Ò Press.
The call is disconnected and the terminal is cleared.
If the caller wants to be connected to another extension:
Clear >
Ò Press.
z Dial the extension number.
Proceed to extend the call as normal.
If the busy extension has a previous call camped on
C. WAITING
and RESTRICTED are shown:
However, if your system is programmed that way, it might be
possible to have several calls camped on to the same extension
(1 - 9).
You can put the call on hold, see section “On hold” on page 47.
