Outgoing Calls
If the extension is busy (BUSY is displayed), or a cordless, or an IP
extension is unavailable (
UNAVAIL is displayed), you can supervise
the line until the extension becomes free:
Note: A free extension that does not answer a call can also
be supervised.

Press.
The extension is camped on. The terminal is cleared and the
extension cannot initiate new calls. The terminal rings when the
extension becomes free.
Display example:
ê
Press to answer the call.
RESERVED is displayed.
Ò < Speech Press to call the extension.
The terminal rings the extension and
ANSWER is displayed when the
extension answers.
Ò < Clear Press to terminate the call.
The call is disconnected and the terminal is cleared.
If the extension is in line locked out state:
The display shows
EXTENSION L.LOCKED.
Ò < Clear Press to clear the terminal.
Note: When
EXTENSION L.LOCKED appears on the
display you must clear the terminal and inform maintenance
personnel so an investigation can be launched.
