The VETSCAN SA also displays some specific error and warning codes.

Error E0 Comms timeout Check external connections and
restart.

Error E3 Reagent Kit issue – Lot not
entered or expired.
Install a new Reagent Kit.
Error E4 Waste container is full Empty the waste container to
continue testing.
Error E5 No Rinse detected Check tubing, Prime, or do
Reagent Kit change if empty.
Error E6 Rinse A empty or
disconnected
Check tubing, Prime Rinse A, or do
Reagent Kit change if empty.
Error E7 Rinse B empty or
disconnected
Check tubing, Prime Rinse B, or do
Reagent Kit change if empty.
Error E8 Insufficient space on the disk Contact Abaxis representative.
Warning W11 Cleaner use is due Run Cleaner cycle now.
Warning N /A Warning or Error: Please go
to Tools to correct; There
is one or more Warnings or
Errors shown on the Tools
Screen that needs to be
corrected before a run can
occur (After clicking Run or
pressing blue start paddle).
NOTE: The SA Status Light
color on the Measure screen
will be changed to solid red
during these Warning or
Error states.
Go to Tools section, Select the
Error(s) and/or Warning(s), press
the “Solve” button, and follow the
Instructions. Solve Errors first.
Camera Error N/A Problem with camera
connection and this test may
be invalid
Check the results for incomplete
thumbnails. Contact Abaxis
representative.
Camera Error N/A Cannot connect to camera Contact Abaxis representative.
Logged Error N/A Serious SA software error
condition occurred.
Follow on screen instructions to
quit the SA software, and then
power cycle the SA analyzer
to recover. Contact Abaxis
representative.
