ABB PLC and drives integration using Modbus RTU

To make a connection to the instance of the function block “ACS_COM_MOD_RTU”, choose the instance from
actualprogram(PRG)andclick“OK”untilallpop‐upwindowsareclosed.
Tip!Tickthe“Structured”boxintheInputassistantwindowforabetteroverview.
On the same page, create a visualization window for the drive control. Insert→Visualization→Select
“ACS_DRIVES_CTRL_STANDARD_VISU_PH”→double‐clickthenewobjectandclick“Placeholder”→PressF2from
the “Replacement” field→Choose the instance of function block“ACS_DRIVES_CTRL_STANDARD”→click “OK”
untilallpop‐upwindowsareclosed.
