30 Maintenance
To activate reduced run:
1. Stop inverter operation with the Start/Stop switch or with the parameter 189.01 Inverter
operation.
2. To access the reduced run control parameters, enter an engineer level passcode to
parameter 196.02. Passcode.
3. Select a power section to be disabled with the applicable parameter:
206.2 Power section 1 forced disable
206.3 Power section 2 forced disable
4. Verify the status of the active power sections with parameter 206.1 Power section
status. A value of “1” means that the power section is in use.
5. Restart the inverter. Turn the Start/Stop switch to position 1 and set the parameter
189.01 Inverter operation to Enable. The inverter automatically closes the AC
breakers in the active power sections and always from power section 1.
6. The inverter automatically controls the AC and DC contactors of the active power
sections. The contactors in the disabled power sections are commanded to open and
their status must be open.
Note:
The power sections are numbered 1n. The power section closest to the
inverter’s control section is number 1.
The manual AC switch or breaker of power section 1 must always be closed
when the inverter operates, even in reduced run mode, since the AC grid voltage
measurement is taken from between the AC main fuses and the AC contactor of
power section 1.
If the power section to be disconnected is other than power section 1, you can
open the optional manual AC switch for additional isolation from the AC grid.
The optional AC breaker of the power section 1 is controlled by software, even
if that power section operation is disabled.
