32 Maintenance
To isolate DC inputs of a power section:
1. Stop the inverter from the Start/Stop switch or from parameter 189.01 Inverter
operation.
2. Disconnect the inverter from the DC and AC supply, lock out the disconnecting
devices, and measure to make sure that there is no voltage present. Refer to
Installation and maintenance safety on page 6.
3. Open the door of the DC power section to be isolated.
4. Open the manual DC switch.
5. Lock out and tag out the DC switch handle.
6. Open the cover on the DC input cabling section.
7. Verify that no voltage is present at the DC inputs. Note that the PV panel side needs to
be isolated from that side also.
8. Place temporary work grounding between the DC+ and DC- busbars and the ground
busbar. 25 mm ball grounding terminals are provided.
9. Close the DC input cabling section covers and DC power section door.
10. Connect the AC and DC voltage to the inverter.
11. Restart the inverter. Turn the Start/Stop switch to position 1. and set the parameter
189.01 Inverter operation to Enable.
