2.2.2.1 SAFETY IN THE ROBOT SYSTEM

Warranty and liability
The manual does not provide information on how to design, install
and operate the complete system. It also does not contain
information about additional equipment that may affect the safety of
the entire system. To protect personnel, the complete system must
be designed and installed in accordance with the safety
requirements set out in the standards and regulations in force in the
country where the robot is installed.
Users of ABB industrial robots are responsible for ensuring that all
applicable country-specific regulations and safety regulations are
complied with and that the necessary safety devices are properly
designed and installed to protect persons operating the robot
system. Personnel working with robots must have knowledge of the
operation and operation of an industrial robot,
described in relevant documents, such as:

● Instructions for the IRB 360 robot and IRC5 Compact controller
This document contains all safety instructions for the robot and controller.

Connecting external security devices
In addition to the built-in safety functions, the robot is also equipped
with an interface for connecting external safety devices. This
interface enables external safety devices to cooperate with other
machines and peripheral devices. This means jointly using
information from control and safety signals received from peripheral
devices and the robot.
