6:2.4.1 Start/Stop the motor
Start
Enter the Start/Stop menu, Figure 22.
Select Start. The motor will now start and run according to the set parameters.
Stop
Select
Stop. The motor will stop according to the set parameters. It is possible to press the stop
command during the start ramp if necessary.
6:2.4.2 Jog
Enter the Jog menu, Figure 23.
Select Jog. The motor will start and accelerate to rated speed according to the set parameters as
long as the Jog command is activated.
The motor stops immediately as soon as the command is released.
6:2.4.3 DOL start
(PSBT370...1050 only)
Start from the softstarter
If necessary, the motor can be started DOL (Direct On Line/across the line) with the integrated by-
pass contactor.
Select the DOL start menu, Figure 24.
Select
DOL start to close the integrated by-pass contactor.
Select
Stop to open the contactor.
Warning!
The rated motor current must never exceed the AC-3 rating of the integrated by-pass contactor.
See Chapter 3 for AC3 ratings.
