The test of the pulse counter function requires at least the PST Parameter Setting Tool
or SPA (or LON) connection to a station HMI including corresponding functionality. A
known number of pulses are with different frequency connected to the pulse counter in-
put. The test should be performed for the settings operation = Off/On and for blocked/
deblocked function. The pulse counter value is then read by the PST or station HMI.
