4. Position the new code chip so the code number
faces away from you. Push the code chip into
the code chip slot until the code chip snaps into
place.
NOTE
• If you see code and a flashing - - - on the display, insert a code chip into the meter.
• Do not force the code chip into the meter. There is only one correct way to insert the code chip.
• Leave the code chip in the meter until you open a new test strip box. Once you receive a black code
chip, you do not need to change the code chip again.
