4-8 Troubleshooting
Touch Panel Responsiveness Issues 0
If the touch panel is unresponsive, perform the following:
1. Copy
Get FW Information.zip
and
Dazzle_draw program tool_201301.zip
to Windows
and unzip the files.
2. Open the “Get FW information”
folder and double click
GetFWInfoApp.exe
.
3. Copy the information displayed by the pop-up window, including: FW Version, PID,
FW ID, Test Version, Boot Code Version.
4. Open the “Dazzle_draw program tool_20130121” folder and right-click
DrawLineTest.ini
to edit it.
5. Modify the FW Version, PID, FW ID, Test Version, Boot Code Version according to the
info from
GetFWInfoApp.exe.
6. Double click
DrawLineTestTool.exe
to run the program.
7. In the Barcode field, enter
121221354841
. In the Options field, check the boxes for
“Resume” and “Enable Barcode”, and set the Barcode Length to 12.
8. Once the barcode is detected as correct, click “Start” to begin testing.
9. Follow the on-screen indicators to complete the following tests. When a test is
successful, “PASS” is displayed. If you would like to take a test again, click “Retry” at
the end of each test.
Open/Short Test
Use one finger to draw a continuous line along the border of the screen, inside the
designated field.
Linearity Test
Use one finger to draw a line from point 1 to point 2, and another line from point
3 to point 4, resulting in two lines diagonally across the screen.
Multi-Touch Test
Use two fingers to draw parallel lines along each edge of the screen, in the order
of 1, 2, 3, 4.
Corner Test
Tap on designated areas in each corner of the screen.
10. Once all four tests are completed, the result will be displayed in the bottom left
corner of the application window.
