DAILY CHECKS
For your own safety and to assure the long
life of your machine, a careful check should
be made before each operation.
Coolant Check
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
Move the excavator to even
ground.
Make sure that the engine is
turned off.
Do not open the radiator cap
right after the engine has been
stopped; Serious burns can
occur from contact with
escaping hot coolant fluid.
Check the coolant level in the
reserve tank only after the
engine has cooled down.
Remove the radiator cap only if
absolutely necessary.
The radiator has a reserve tank. Should the
coolant level in the radiator sink, the water
will be automatically be transferred to the
radiator.
Check the coolant level in the reserve tank
and fill up if necessary. The coolant level
should be between the marks “FULL” and
“LOW”.

IMPORTANT:
Do not fill the reserve tank over the
“FULL” marking.
Do not fill with dirty or salty water.
NOTE:
Before delivery coolant were filled with
50 % water and 50 % antifreeze.
Check Fuel Level
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury:
Stop the engine and remove
the key before fueling.
Do not smoke while fueling.
IMPORTANT:
Temperatures over –5ºC, use No.2-D
diesel fuel, temperatures are under –5ºC,
use No.1-D diesel fuel.
Make sure that the fuel tank is not empty.
Air will enter into the fuel system, and
must be purged before restarting.
Always fill up fuel after a day's work.

Check the fuel level of the indicator.
(1) Fuel level indicator
