Measurement with disabled inclinometers
If the inclinometers are not functioning
properly, e.g., in high vibrations, they can be
disabled.
• Turn off the inclinometers in Settings.
When the inclinometers are disabled, the
system will work as normal with the following
exceptions:
• The readings must be registered
according to the "clock method".
Register the first reading at 9 o'clock,
rotate the shafts 180° and register
the second reading at 3 o'clock, rotate
90° back to 12 o'clock to register the
third and final reading.
During alignment, use the change view icon to
change from horizontal to vertical view of the
machine and vice versa.
NOTE: When disabling the inclinometers, they
will remain disabled until leaving the Shaft
Alignment application for the Main Menu.
