Battery indicator
Every battery is individual and will dier
slightly in capacity, which makes it impos-
sible to initially program the battery indi-
cator to show the correct value. From the
start it is preset to a mean value. At the end
of the battery service life its capacity will be
somewhat decreased.
Because of this the battery capacity is
checked by the software each time it char-
ges completely from at battery, and the
battery indicator is adjusted accordingly.
I.e. the system is continuously adapting
to the status of the battery.
As a result to this, with a new unit/bat-
tery it may take up to 5 charging cycles
before the indicator is showing accurate
information.
A 2nd eect is that the battery indicator
will show 100% charge after recharging
throughout the lifetime of the battery.
While charging an LED will ash. The
ashing LED will indicate the current level
of charge. When the charging is complete
or interrupted the ashing will stop.
