How to fix no outdoor sensor reception on AcuRite Weather Station?
    • P
      patelmicheleAug 13, 2025
To resolve the issue of no outdoor sensor reception (no bars) on your AcuRite Weather Station: * Relocate the display and/or the outdoor sensor, ensuring they are within 330 ft (100 m) of each other. * Position both units at least 3 feet (.9 m) away from electronics that may cause wireless interference, such as TVs, microwaves, or computers. * Use standard alkaline batteries (or lithium batteries in the sensor when the temperature is below -4ºF/-20ºC). Avoid using heavy-duty or rechargeable batteries. * Allow a few minutes for the display and sensor to synchronize after replacing the batteries.

What to do if the outdoor temperature is flashing or showing dashes on my AcuRite 02027 Weather Station?
    • L
      Lisa Wells DDSAug 21, 2025
If the outdoor temperature on your AcuRite Weather Station is flashing or showing dashes, it indicates wireless interference. Here's what you can do: Bring both the sensor and display unit indoors and remove at least one battery from each. Ensure the A-B-C switch on both units matches. Reinstall the battery in the outdoor sensor, then reinstall the battery in the display unit. Allow the units to sit within a couple of feet of each other for about 20 minutes to establish a strong connection.

Why is my AcuRite 02027 forecast inaccurate?
    • R
      Robin TuckerSep 4, 2025
There are a few reasons why your AcuRite Weather Station forecast might be inaccurate: * The Weather Forecast icon predicts conditions for the next 12 to 24 hours, not current conditions. * Ensure the Learning Mode icon has disappeared from the display. The learning mode must complete before the forecast and pressure will be accurate. * Allow the unit to run continuously for 33 days. Removing the battery or resetting the display will restart Learning Mode. The forecast should be fairly accurate after 14 days; however, Learning Mode calibrates for a total of 33 days.

An inaccurate forecast on your AcuRite Weather Station could be due to several reasons. The Weather Forecast icon predicts conditions for the next 12 to 24 hours, not current conditions. Ensure the Learning Mode icon has disappeared from the display unit; the forecast and pressure readings will not be accurate until Learning Mode is complete. Allow the unit to run continuously for 33 days, as battery removal or resetting the display unit will restart Learning Mode. After 14 days, the forecast should be fairly accurate; however, Learning Mode calibrates for a total of 33 days.
