Adamson A40 - Operating Modes; Dehumidification, Fan, and Heating Modes; Timing Mode Operation

Dehumidication mode
Press the “MODE” button until the indicator light “DEHUM” is orange and the display shows “dH”
, which indicates that the Dehumidication mode is on.
Fan mode
Press the “MODE” button until the indicator light “FAN” is green and the display shows “FA”
which indicates that the Fan mode is on.
Press the “SPEED” button to switch between Low and High wind speeds.
Heating mode
Press the “MODE” button until the indicator light “HEAT” is red and the display shows the
temperature , which indicates that the Heating mode is on. It will take about 30 seconds
to get hot air.
Press the “TEMP+” button to increase the temperature setting. Each time this button is
pressed will increase the temperature by 1 °C. The display will show the targeted
temperature, which can be adjusted up to 31 °C.
Press the “TEMP-” button to decrease the temperature setting. Each time this button is
pressed will decrease the temperature by 1 °C. The display will show the targeted temperature,
which can be adjusted down to 16 °C.
Press the “SPEED” button to switch between Low and High wind speeds.
Timing mode
Push the “TIMER” button to enter Timing mode.
Press the “TEMP+” button to increase the timer. Each time this button is pressed will increase
the time by 1 hour. The display will show the targeted timer setting, which can be adjusted up to 24
hours.
Press the “TEMP-” button to decrease the timer. Each time this button is pressed will decrease
the timer by 1 hour. The display will show the targeted timer setting, which can be adjusted between
0-24 hours.

Press the “TIMER” button again to conrm the set time (or wait for 10 seconds and the time will be
automatically conrmed).
When the timer counts down to “00” the machine will automaticall turn off.
To turn off the timer, push the “TIMER” button, dial the time back to “00” and press “TIMER” to
conrm.
