Special Statements and Information
Special Statements Regarding Hearing Aids
Hearing aids will not restore normal hearing and will not
prevent or improve a hearing impairment resulting from
organic conditions.
Allergic reactions to hearing aids are unlikely. However, if
you experience itching, redness, soreness, inammation or a
burning sensation in or around your ears, inform your hearing
health care professional and contact your physician.
The use of hearing aids is only part of hearing rehabilitation;
auditory training and lip reading
instruction may be required as well.
In most cases, infrequent use of hearing aids does not
provide full benets. Once you have become accustomed to
your hearing aids, wear them everyday, as much as is practical.
If your hearing aid(s) need(s) to be repaired, please see the
“Warranty, Repairs and Returns” page of this manual. You
may send the hearing aid to Advanced Affordable Hearing,
LLC, 310 K St., Ste 286, Anchorage, AK, 99501, but if you do,
you will incur additional service charges.
