Mounting and Cable Fittings:
Safe Area Cable Connections
TheTouchMix®XIcomputerallowsforcableconnectionstoasafeareaviaaconduitattachedto
thehousing.
 For USA & Canadian installations, the computer housing provides a single
conduit opening able to accept a standard "Ex" certified conduit fitting.
 For ATEX/IECEx installations any suitable ATEX/IEC approved cable gland is
to be used.
NOTE:Itistheinstaller’sresponsibilitytodeterminehowconnectionsaremadeandcomply
withalllocalcodes.
  
Making Connections:
Tomaintainsafeinstallationconditions,ALLconnectionsmustbemadeinaccordancewiththe
InstallationControlDrawingsandlocalcodesprovidedinthismanual.
Internalconnectorsmustbesecuredwithprovidedscrewsandretainingbrackets(seebelow)

Bracketinstallation:
Pushbracketstightlyagainstconnector,installandtighten
downscrew,tokeepconnectorsecure.




