CAUTION: Ensure circuit breaker and its accessories are always
used within their designated raƟngs.
Use the specially designed circuit breaker handling truck
(opƟonal accessory) when removing the circuit breaker from its
casseƩe.
1.4.1 Charging of main springs
NOTICE: 1 charging cycle provides suĸcient energy for an O-C-O
(Open-Close-Open) operaƟon. The mechanism only operates
correctly when the device is mounted on a horizontal plane and
Įxed at the boƩom OR when the device is mounted in a verƟcal
plane and Įxed at the boƩom or rear. (using mounƟng brackets)
Device Charging (manual)
-- Extend handle (Fig.1.0B page 1.4)
-- Rotate or depress handle in a downwards direcƟon.
-- Allow the handle to return to it's original posiƟon. A clearly
audible click indicates that the operaƟon is completed.
-- Repeat the above menƟoned process 10 Ɵmes, thus fully
charging the springs. The status indicator will now be RED: The
mechanism design includes measures that prevent over
extension and operator injury.
Device Charging (electrical)
The opƟonally available spring charging mechanism (motor) will
automaƟcally charge the springs directly aŌer a closing
operaƟon. This takes approximately 2 seconds.
