3.2.2 Draw out CasseƩe
IsolaƟon ShuƩer Locking:
Security locking
Locks the OperaƟon of Safety shuƩers, if installed any, when
pad lock applied on the security locking bar C only, when the
CasseƩe is in DISCONNECTED posiƟon. Also Locks the entry of
Racking handle in to the Crank InserƟon hole of the CasseƩe.
Lock can be applied when Circuit breaker in the DISCONNECTED
posiƟon.
Maximum One padlock (required hasp diameter is 3 ~ 8 mm)
May be applied for security. Also this locking Device is
compaƟble with scissor lock.
1. Ensure posiƟon indicator shows DISCONNECTED PosiƟon.
2. Remove racking handle from the Crank inserƟon hole if
present already.
3. Pull the locking bar unƟl the locking eye is exposed and hold
while inserƟng padlock hasp. Shown in Fig. B. Device is locked
out aŌer padlock applicaƟon. Shown in Fig. C.
4. Then with a screw driver aƩempt to turn the Racking handle
shuƩer drive B clockwise. Shown in Fig. A.
5. CondiƟon should be-Not able to Rotate racking handle
shuƩer drive B & insert Racking handle in to the crank inserƟon
hole on front panel.
6. AƩempt to move the Front shuƩer plate Up & down
(Applicable for Horizontal terminaƟons Fig. D) or move leŌ to
Right (Applicable for verƟcal terminaƟons Fig. E) which are
installed on the CasseƩe in front of terminals. CondiƟon should
not be able to move the shuƩer plate.
