The table below shows how to remove limescale from the inside of the electric
kettle.
Table 2 – Descaling agents and cleaning methods
Agent How to use
Citric acid Boil 0.5 l of water. Add 25 g of citric acid and leave for
15 min. Pour out the contents, wash the kettle by drawing
and draining the water 5–6 times
Table vinegar Pour 0.5 l of vinegar (6 % or 9 %) into the kettle, leave for
1 hour without boiling. Pour out the contents, wash the
kettle by drawing and draining the water 5–6 times
Descaler Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the product
package
