7 Troubleshooting
The table below shows typical errors and problems that may occur while using the
device and possible solutions.

1 The device does not
turn on
There is no power in the
outlet to which the
device is connected
Check that the power
outlet is working by
plugging in another
appliance. If necessary,
reconnect the device to
a working power outlet
The kettle is poorly
placed on the stand
Remove the kettle from
the stand and put it
back
The power cord or plug
are damaged
Contact the service
centre
2 The device shuts
down untimely
There is no water in the
kettle or the water level
is below the "MIN" mark,
which triggers the
overheat protection
Make sure there is water
in the kettle and its level
is above the "MIN" mark.
Allow the device to cool
down before turning it
on again
Scale formation on the
inner surface of the
kettle
Follow the instructions
in section 3.2 "Cleaning
the inside of the device"
