This document is a user manual for the Aerpro AM9X-AM10X Multimedia Receiver, a wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible head unit.

Function Description:

The Aerpro AM9X-AM10X is a multimedia receiver designed for in-vehicle entertainment and connectivity. It offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, allowing users to access smartphone features like navigation, music, and messaging directly from the head unit's display. The device includes a built-in radio tuner, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calling and music streaming, and media playback capabilities from USB sources. It also supports a reverse camera input for enhanced safety.

Usage Features:

• Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto: Seamless integration with compatible smartphones for navigation, music, calls, and messages. Requires park brake connection to function.
• Radio Mode: Auto tuning, manual seek, FM/AM band selection (FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, AM2), and preset station storage (6 stations per band).
• Media Playing Mode: Supports various compatible formats from USB. Features include track navigation, play/pause, fast forward/rewind, repeat (folder/track), random play, track list display, equalizer settings, ID3 info, folder navigation, and quick search keypad.
• Bluetooth Mode: Pairing with up to 5 mobile phones (one active at a time), keypad for dialing, phone book access, call interface, Bluetooth music streaming, Bluetooth settings, connected device screen, auto connect, auto answer, sync call logs and contacts, and microphone gain control.
• Connected Devices Screen: Manages paired devices, activates/deactivates Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth calling, and Bluetooth music for each device.
• Setup Menu:
  • General: Adjusts date, time (12H/24H format), touch screen beep, reverse lines for camera, internal/external microphone selection, radio region, and right-hand drive indicator bar.
  • Display: Adjusts screen brightness and dimmer mode (Auto/Day/Night). Auto dimmer requires an illumination wire connection.
  • Audio: Adjusts equalizer settings, time alignment (speaker delay), sub filter settings, loudness (sound boost), subwoofer (bass switch), subwoofer gain, and reversing volume.
  • Others: Factory reset, system version information, steering wheel control adjustment, and open source license display.
• Voice Control: Siri for Apple CarPlay (initiated by holding Home icon or pressing Voice button) and Google Voice for Android Auto (initiated by touching Microphone icon or pressing Voice Recognition Button).

Maintenance Features:

• Troubleshooting: The manual provides solutions for common issues such as wireless connection problems with Android phones (requires 5 GHz Wi-Fi support, Android 6.0+), general mobile phone connection issues (restarting phone, factory reset, software updates), and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay not working due to park brake connection.
• Cleaning: Use a moist soft cloth to clean the product and display surface. Avoid chemical substances, cleaning solvents, or cleaners.
• Repair: Do not attempt to open or repair the product yourself. For warranty issues, return to the place of purchase. For out-of-warranty repairs, contact an authorized repair agent.
• Technical Assistance: Retain the user guide for future reference. Digital copies, manuals, software, videos, and updates are available on the Aerpro website.
• Installation: It is recommended to use an Authorized Dealer for installation. Do not cut or modify harnesses to avoid damage and voiding the warranty. Hand tightening tools are recommended for attaching the head unit to the facia to prevent damage to plastics. The park brake needs to be connected for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to function legally. The GPS module is highly recommended for accurate map tracking.
