*** Note: Before switching to Auto mode double check and make sure the speed control
potentiometer is turned fully counter clockwise to the off position.
7. Select the Auto position of the Auto/manual switch
8. On the Guia/Platinum Screen select Test
9. On the Guia/Platinum Screen select U.F.C/Granular system
10. Select Connect
11. Once connected a screen on bottom will appear displaying the granular system info such as
motor RPM, Current, encoder info, and targets. Also led green light indicator on the U.F.C
Granular controller will start flashing indicating Guia/Platinum are communicating with the
controller.
12. Select Start Motor
13. At any time to stop the motors, select Stop Motor
14. On the bottom screen. Motor 1: Off, Motor 2: Off. Should now read Motor 1: On, Motor 2:
On.
15. Select the Target RPM (+) press return to increase RPM. Test at different settings example:
20 rpm, 40 rpm, 60 rpm.
16. Check RPM readings for variance between motor1 and motor 2. They should be very similar
at different speeds with very little variance.
17. It is normal for the Tank1: Empty, Tank2: Empty indicators to flash if the tanks are empty.
18. To leave screen FIRST SLOW DOWN RPM by selecting Target RPM (-) until the motors
come to a stop.
19. Select Stop Motor
20. Select Exit
The Hardware installation test is now complete.
