4. Testing Procedure:
4.1 Final check
*** Re-check all wiring connections and make sure fasteners have been tightened
• Inspect Power connection
• Inspect Motor connection
• Inspect Encoder connection
• Inspect Guia/Platinum connections
*** Tie up all lose wires and secure to airframe
*** Label switch functions on aircraft front panel
*** Label the dedicated 10A circuit breaker
Once these checks have been completed, the system is ready for operation. You may now connect
the Aircraft Battery.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding on the installation or operation of the
Granular dispersal system, please contact Ag-Nav support as shown on page 3 of this manual.
4.2 Testing the granular system
1. Power up the Guia/Platinum system and Granular system.
2. Check the U.F.C Granular Controller (AAP188-xxx) LED indicator on top of the unit. If the
Green Light is on the controller is o.k.
3. Turn the manual speed controller potentiometer on the Granular harness (AC0188-B) counter
clockwise until stopped.
4. Select the Manual position of the auto/manual switch on the Granular harness (AC0188-B).
5. Turn the speed controller potentiometer slowly clockwise and the both motors should speed
up.
6. Turn the speed controller potentiometer slowly counter clockwise and the both motors should
slow down.
