FOLDING MODELS
1. Mount gang channel to outer-end bar of wing
frame using 3/4" x 3-1/2" bolts and lock nuts.
2. Slide pivot shaft, with cylinder lug to rear,
between wing frame channel and gang mounting
channel. Secure with bearings, bolts and
locknuts.
Note: Pivot shafts are identified left “L” or right
“R”. Install accordingly.
3. Position gang so gang bolt nut is toward outside
of right slicer gang. Slide slicer gang frame
under wing frame channel and gang mounting
channel.
4. Fasten slicer gang with upper bearing on top of
slicer gang tube and lower bearing under slicer
gang tube. Clamp bearings and tube to frame.
5. Hook ears of pressure rod to hole in rear of bar
on gang frame. Secure with clevis pin and
cotter pin.
6. Attach turnbuckle between pivot shaft anchor
and wing frame anchor.
Note: An optional hydraulic cylinder is available.
IMPORTANT! Tighten all bolts to proper torque.
