GENERAL
The SMV sign and transport lights are shipped
separately with the machine bundle.
All Soil Savers
are designed to meet current
industry standards for location and visibility. Identify
the model (7 through 17-shanks) on the following
pages and install the lights and SMV sign
accordingly.
Note: SS7200 shown. Lights, SMV sign and
reflectors for SS7400 are in similar locations.
AMBER OUTER LIGHTS
1. Refer to appropriate model configuration layout
from pp. 19 - 21.
Note: Location dimensions are in inches.
2. Attach light post to outer side frame at rear bar
(Fig. 7) using two

″ bolts and flat strap as
a clamp. Install flat washers against post and
secure with lock washers and nuts.
3. Right Side: Install reflectors on billboard with red
outside and orange inside with billboard facing
rear of machine (Fig. 7). Install yellow reflector
on front of billboard near outer edge (Fig. 8).
Allow approx.

″ between reflectors and from
billboard edges.
4. Left Side: Repeat Steps #1, #2, #3 above.
Billboard is a mirror image of right side, with red
reflector outside, orange inside (rear) and yellow
outside (front).
5. Attach each billboard to light post with two

″ bolts, four flat washers, two lock
washers and nuts. Install flat washers on both
sides of billboard.
RED INNER LIGHTS
Mount inside lights (Fig. 9) to rear bar at locations
shown in layout with red lens toward rear.
