Calibrating Using Electronic Calibration (ECal)
This section describes Electronic Calibration (ECal).
Use the following steps to perform the calibration.
1. Set up the measurement for which you are calibrating. Refer to āSet Up the
Measurement.ā
2. Connect the ECal equipment. Refer to āConnect the ECal Equipmentā on page 4-18.
3. Select the ECal options. Refer to āSelect the ECal Optionsā on page 4-20.
4. Perform the calibration. Refer to āPerform the Calibrationā on page 4-21.
5. Perform the conļ¬dence check. Refer to āPerform the Conļ¬dence Checkā on page 4-24.
Set Up the Measurement
1. Press .
2. Select the type of measurement you want to make.
ā If you want to make a reļ¬ection measurement on PORT 1 (in the forward direction,
