6 Read the DVM and change the low voltage value on the display to match
the measured voltage.
For example, if the DVM reading is 0.4500 V, adjust the voltage to 0.4500 V using
the knob and resolution selection keys.
7 Pressing (Calibrate) key saves the change and selects the middle
voltage calibration point. (‘‘V MI 25.000V’’ - E3634A model)
If the entered number is within an acceptable range, an ‘‘ENTERED’’ message
appears for one second. If the entered number is not correct, an ‘‘MIN VALUE’’
or ‘‘MAX VALUE’’ message appears for one second and the display shows the
low voltage calibration point again. The display now shows the middle voltage
calibration point.
8 Read the DVM and change the middle voltage value on the display to
match the measured voltage.
For example, if the DVM reads 10.001 V, adjust the voltage to 10.001 V using
the knob and arrow keys.
9 Pressing (Calibrate) key saves the changes and selects the high
voltage calibration point. (‘‘V HI 49.500 V’’ - E3634A model)
If the entered number is within an acceptable range, an ‘‘ENTERED’’ message
appears for one second. If the entered number is not correct, an ‘‘MIN VALUE’’
or ‘‘MAX VALUE’’ message appears for one second and the display shows the
middle voltage calibration point again. The display now shows the high voltage
calibration point.
