Ducts and wall bushings must be sealed un-
der and behind the unit to protect against fire.
Do not drill holes in the appliance and do
not carry out any other work on the appli-
ance.
CAUTION
Material breakage.
Falling hazard. Cuts.
Do not climb onto or into the appli-
ance.
Do not apply any load to the lid.
Heavy appliance parts.
Hands may become trapped.
During setup and installation, ob-
serve your fingers and hands.
Use protective gloves.
NOTICE
Material and property damage due to accumu-
lation of warm exhaust air (heat accumulation).
Exhaust air must be able to escape unhin-
dered at the rear of the appliance.
To ensure good air circulation, maintain mini-
mum distances to surrounding walls and
other appliances..
Do not cover the venting openings of the ap-
pliance cover with block installation.
Superstructures may only be installed in con-
sultation with the manufacturer.
Minimum spacing 100 mm.
Material and property damage in the event of
incorrect positioning.
Place the appliance in a stable operating po-
sition (horizontal alignment).
Only set up the appliance on the pre-installed
sliding feet.
Do not expose the appliance to heat radiation
at the place of installation.
Do not expose the appliance to direct air con-
ditioning or ventilation at the place of installa-
tion.
Do not fix any thick insulating materials to the
outer walls. Stick on advertising posters only
as thin film.
Minimum clearance with single installation:
All round: 100 mm
Minimum distance with block installation
A: 0 mm
B: 155 mm

Appliances can be connected using bus cables (op-
tional accessories) (for assigning bus addresses, see
page 11, chapter 5).
Removal and installation of the lid
Reason for removal and installation of the lid:
for carrying out a complete defrosting with
subsequent cleaning
the lid is damaged

Lid removal
1. Open the lid.
2. Using both hands, lift the lid at the rear and pull
back until it can be removed to the front.
3. Carefully lift out the lid with both hands.
Lid installation
1. Insert the bottom smaller lid.
2. Insert the top lid.
3. Close the lid completely.
4. Check for trouble-free function.
8.1 Electrical connection
The connection to the power supply is made by the
operator.

WARNING
Connect the appliance to the power
supply.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock. Fire hazard due to sparking or over-
load.
Only qualified staff may carry out
work on the electrical system.
Note the following before connecting
to the power supply:
Applicable local electrical safety reg-
ulations.
Applicable standards and safety in-
structions.
Information on the rating plate (see
Rating plate and serial number).
The mains voltage and mains fre-
quency must match the specifica-
tions on the rating plate.
Do not connect a damaged appli-
ance or damaged parts (such as
connecting cables) to the power sup-
ply.
