12.2 What to do if ...
All appliances are carefully tested for performance and
safety at the AHT test centre.
Contact the maintenance service promptly (see →
Maintenance services) in the event of:

a malfunction (see → Malfunctions during oper-
ation)
–
loud noises or vibration
–
failure of the control and display elements

Provide the following information:

Appliance type
–
14-digit serial number of the appliance
–
See → Rating plate and serial number
–
See additional sticker on the left appliance

Make the defective appliance inaccessible to end cus-
tomers.
12.3 Maintenance services

nance, service, repair, etc.), please contact the AHT
service partner in your region:

13 Disposal
Leakage or residue of flammable re-
frigerant.
Flammable refrigerant can cause an explosive
gas/air mixture. Fire hazard.
▪ Do not damage pipes.
▪ Prior to dismantling and disposal,
open the refrigerant circuit properly
and suck off the refrigerant safely
and completely. No residues may re-
main in the refrigerant circuit.
▪ Only qualified staff may suck off the
refrigerant.
Improper disposal.
Environmental damage.
▪ Dispose of components in a profes-
sional and environmentally friendly
manner, e.g:
–
Refrigerant
–
Insulating foam (pentane)
–
Compressor oil
–
Films and packaging
–
Glass
▪ Separate collection of electrical and
electronic equipment according to the
valid national disposal regulations
(e.g. WEEE within the EU) and the
regulations of the local disposal part-
ner.
▪ Do not dispose of the appliance with
household waste.
