3.2 Update the Onboard Flash Firmware
By installing the BSP, all the files necessary to update the Onboard Flash Firmware are also
installed.
3.2.1 Update of API / ACI / APX1553 boards
Install the new drivers as explained in Section 2.2.2
Note: When using API/ACI/APX/ACX boards:
If you are updating from a BSP version lower than V10.00 please contact
support@aim-online.com for advice.
Select Start | Run..., then in the Run window, click the Browse... button and navigate to:
x:\Program Files\AIM GmbH\PCI-1553-Windows-BSP-Vxxxx\Onboard-SW
Select the Update.bat file, then the Open button.
All PCI 1553 boards found in the system now will be updated automatically.
Note: If an error occurred while updating the boards, please contact support@aim-
online.com including a screen shot of the update tool output.
3.2.2 Update of AEC/AXC/AMCX/APE boards
Install the new drivers as explained in Section 2.2.2
Select Start | Run..., then in the Run window, click the Browse... button and navigate to:
x:\Program Files\AIM GmbH\PCI-1553-Windows-BSP-Vxxxx\Onboard-SW
Select the Update.bat file, then the Open button.
All PCI 1553 boards found in the system now will be updated automatically.

online.com including a screen shot of the update tool output.
