An isolation switch providing full disconnection of both fan and light must be fitted in accordance
with the wiring rules (AS/NZS 60335.1 C1.7.12.2). In addition to all pole disconnection an isolation
switch must be installed for each individual fan located in the same room to allow for programming
and ongoing maintenance.
