Why is my Aircare HD1409 Humidifier fan running continuously?
    • J
      Jennifer GutierrezAug 31, 2025
If the fan in your Aircare Humidifier is running continuously, it could be due to a few reasons. First, check if the float is obstructed and free it. Also, ensure that the SET humidity level is between 25% and 60%. If the ROOM humidity level hasn't reached 1% or more above the SET humidity level, allow the unit to run until the desired humidity is achieved; this may take up to 48 hours initially.

      fpatelSep 2, 2025
If the fan on your Aircare Humidifier isn't working but the digital display is lit, it could be that the room humidity level is not 3% or more below the set humidity level. Try raising the set humidity level if desired. Alternatively, the reservoir might be empty, so fill the humidifier with water.

Why are neither of my Aircare HD1409 Humidifier bottles emptying?
    • T
      Tina BuchananSep 9, 2025
If neither bottle is emptying in your Aircare Humidifier, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, check the orientation of the bottles and reposition them so that the bottle cap plunger (stem) is depressed by the post in the bottom of the cabinet. Also, dirty wicks can cause this issue, so replace them with fresh new wicks (HDC12).
