Why is the cooling capacity of my Airwell AWSI-HJD018-N11 not sufficient?
    • K
      Kristina LaneAug 19, 2025
If your Airwell Air Conditioner isn't cooling sufficiently, several factors could be the cause: * The unit size may not be adequate for the room's load. Check if a larger unit is needed. * The piping size might not match the system specifications. Verify correct installation, diameter size and total length according to unit specifications. * There may be a refrigerant leak. Check the refrigeration system. * There may be a refrigerant clog. Inspect and repair any clogging, especially near the EEV. * Electronics control problem or protection. Check for any fault code shown on display board and act accordingly. * Compressor failure. Check if fault code # is shown on display board. If so, fix the problem according to 13.5.7 or replace driver.

What to do if my Airwell AWSI-HJD018-N11 Air Conditioner indoor unit does not respond to the remote control?
    • A
      Anthony LawsonAug 22, 2025
If your Airwell Air Conditioner indoor unit isn't responding to the remote control, first check the remote control batteries. If that doesn't solve the problem, and if the cause is 'Check continuity of each wire of the display wires/pins with Ohm meter', replace the display box or indoor Electronic Assembly.

Why is the heating capacity of my Airwell AWSI-HJD018-N11 not sufficient?
    • E
      Erica HayesAug 25, 2025
If your Airwell Air Conditioner isn't heating sufficiently, it could be due to: * Reverse valve. Check reversing valve operation. * Deicing not performed well (during low outdoors temperatures). Check OCT and OAT thermistors fault codes (#1 and 4). Check OCT thermistor if connected well to pipe. Check OAT thermistor if connected well. Check the thermistors operation.

Why is my Airwell AWSI-HJD018-N11 outdoor unit coil freezing in heat mode?
    • D
      Darius SaundersAug 26, 2025
If the outdoor unit coil of your Airwell Air Conditioner is freezing in heat mode and the base is blocked with ice: * It could be due to hard conditions of low temperatures and high humidity. Check that there are no obstructions to the outdoor unit coil air inlet. * Check that all holes in bottom of outdoor unit base are open and clean from dirt. * Check OCT and OAT thermistors. * Connect base heater.

Why does the fuse keep burning in my Airwell Air Conditioner indoor unit controller?
    • S
      Sharon HansenAug 30, 2025
If the fuse in your Airwell Air Conditioner's indoor unit controller has burned out, it could be due to a short circuit between wires. Inspect for any cuts or exposed supply wires, or miss-wiring. Another cause could be failure of the indoor unit fan motor, so check the motor and capacitor for any cuts or exposed wires. If the problem persists, replace the fuse.

How to troubleshoot an Airwell Air Conditioner when the indoor fan won't start?
    • Z
      zachary47Sep 1, 2025
If the indoor fan of your Airwell Air Conditioner isn't starting, but the louvers are open and the green LED is on, it could be due to several reasons: * If the unit is in heat mode and the coil isn't warm yet, change to Cool or Fan mode. * There may be a failure of the indoor unit fan motor. Check the motor and capacitor for any cuts or exposed wires. * There could be a problem with the controller or motor capacitor. Change to high speed and check the power supply to the motor is higher than 220VAC. * If still not OK, replace indoor Electronic Assembly.
